Celebrate this brief but beautiful season by taking advantage of one of our area’s many fun festivals. Whether you love seafood, dogs, music, or craft beer, you’re sure to find something to keep you busy during these cool autumn days.

Wilmington’s Riverfest
October 2nd-4th
Historic Downtown Wilmington NC

Currently drawing nearly a quarter-million people, this free, family-oriented three-day event has grown to be a widely anticipated annual celebration. Riverfest boasts craft vendors, concessions booths, a children’s play area, entertainment on various stages, Saturday night fireworks, a rowing regatta, and more. This year, they’ll also be debuting the First Annual Miss Riverfest. This festival is particularly special to us because Network Real Estate, in conjunction with the Wilmington Harbor Enhancement Trust, sponsors the Kids Treasure Hunt. Participating kids can pick up their treasure maps at our office at 106 North Water Street and use them to find treasures at a dozen local businesses during Riverfest!

Wilmington Seafood Festival
October 17th-18th
Watermark Marina, Wilmington NC

Wilmington loves festivals, so it’s no surprise that we’ve added a brand new one to the schedule this year. The inaugural Wilmington Seafood Festival will take place at Watermark Marina, and will feature plenty of local seafood, live music, cooking demos, and vendors. Best of all, it all takes place on the banks of the beautiful Cape Fear River. You can join the fun Saturday, 11am-7pm, and Sunday, 11am-6pm.

Lighthouse Beer & Wine Festival
October 24th
Wilmington NC

Lighthouse Beer and Wine puts on this fantastic event once a year, always in the wonderful month of October. Featuring over 100 craft breweries and wineries, it’s the perfect place to find new favorites and spend a great day relaxing outside. There will be a free shuttle for all attendees and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Carousel Center, an important local organization that helps victims of child abuse. The festival runs from 1pm-5pm and tickets cost $40 in advance and $50 at the door.
