Each year, the Azalea Festival Parade continues to be one of Southeastern North Carolina’s largest annual event, with over 100,000 viewers each year. A part of the annual North Carolina Azalea Festival (now in it's 68th year!), the parade route flows through the heart of Historic downtown Wilmington. Floats, marching units and bands, clowns and horses, and the esteemed Queen Azalea and her court of Azalea Princesses make this family-friendly event fun and unforgettable.

This year, Network Real Estate will once again participate in the Azalea Festival Parade. Our float will celebrate spring with bright colors and benches, and include a mix of adults and children.

At Network Real Estate, we enjoy the opportunity to be a part of one of Wilmington's most beloved and historic traditions. We love where we live and live where we love, and we want everyone to know just how great life is in the Port City.

If you'd like to attend the parade, here's what you need to know: It will be held Saturday April 9, 2016 from 9:30am to 11:30am. The Parade travels down 3rd street from Market St. to Bladen St. The Parking decks on 2nd Street will be accessible via Chestnut Street until 8:30am, but beware: parking decks will not reopen until after the parade ends! And if you're looking for the best view, there will be bleacher seating all along 3rd St. between Market Street and Grace Street. (Bleacher Tickets can be purchased in the office or at the event for a higher cost.)

We hope to see you at the parade, and we hope this year's North Carolina Azalea Festival is the most beautiful one yet!
