Homes For Sale in Bayshore

Bayshore is a lovely neighborhood in northern Wilmington, NC between Ogden and Porters Neck. With southeastern borders along the Intracoastal waterway, Bayshore offers an array lifestyle options – whether you are settling down with your family or looking for a place to retire.

THE HOMES

Between Bayshore Estates and Bayshore Crossing, the neighborhood contains nearly 500 properties, with 1 to 2-story single-family homes ranging in style from standard townhomes to quaint ranch-style homes to newly built coastal style homes.

Home prices in Bayshore Estates usually fall between the $200s up to the $600s and beyond. Bayshore Crossing townhomes usually run lower, from around $150,000 to just over $200,000. While a majority (64%) of Bayshore residents own their homes, 36% of residents rent, with a median monthly rent of about $1,058.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Bayshore is a relatively quiet suburb well suited for families, dogs, and retirees. It features a nice community-owned park at the corner of Shorepoint Drive and Bayshore Drive that leads directly to the water. Lying within the New Hanover County School District, families have access to many high-ranking public schools.

Unlike some other Wilmington area neighborhoods, it is relatively easy to exit the subdivisionquickly – with a dedicated traffic light to accommodate exiting residents at the corner of Market Street and Bayshore Drive. Bayshore is also close to several other charming residential neighborhoods, such as Courtney Pines and Marsh Oaks.

FOOD, SHOPPING, & ENTERTAINMENT

There really is something for everyone in Bayshore!

Into boating? You’ll love taking your boat out on the Intracoastal Waterway. Some homeowners who live right along the waterway even have their own private docks or boat slips.

Prefer the beach? Wrightsville Beach is just a short, scenic drive away! Want to explore the charming, historic Wilmington downtown? Wilmington’s downtown river district is just an 8.4-mile drive away.

Split in half by the bustling Market Street, residents enjoy being near Harris Teeter, Aldi, and Walgreens, along with a variety of local favorite restaurants, such as P.T.’s Olde Fashioned Grille, J. Michael’s Philly Deli, La Costa Mexicana, Kornerstone Bistro, Surf’s Up Hawaiian, and more!
